Hill walking
Many scenic walks begin on the Zell's Schmittenhohe Mountain which is accessible by the Zeller Gondola or you can follow the less demanding walks around the lake, taking in the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
Zell am See is widely known as the perfect departure point for excursions of the most beautiful destinations in Austria such as TheGrosslockner, The Krimml Waterfalls, The Festival City of Salzburg and not forgetting Austria's National Park-Hohe Tauern.
